	These Fiskars' Hedge Shears are very well balanced and light weight. They are my favourite hedge shear. The PowerGear® technology doubles your cutting power. The sharp precision hardened steel blades have a non-stick coating. Lightweight, durable Nyglass® handles. 9" blades and a overall length: 22"
	The Pruning Book by Lee  Reich is very good. Want to know how to prune Bamboo, Hardy Kiwi, Palm Trees, Evergreens then this is the book for you. 	Variegated Trees& Shrubs by Ronald Houtman. I almost drooled over this book. I thought I liked variegated plants until Ronald Houtman's book. Now it challenges me do more. 	Indoor Plant Gardening by Laura Peters. A good basic book on Indoor Plants. Why it is for Canada? It is good for most of the rest of the world too! Good photographs and information. Lone Pine Publishing © 2004 Canada $21.95

	Restoring American Gardens by Denise Wiles Adams. Anyone with a historic home built between 1640 and 1940 needs this book. It is an excellent book covering the bulbs, trees, shrubs, roses, flowers of the different time periods and does it by regions. Horticultural information on the plants is good. 	A Zest for Herbs by Caroline Holmes An excellent good resource on herbs. Good examples of herbs in the landscape. Could be improved by the addition of recipes. Arranged in thematic chapters, the book discusses the many ways you can use herbs. It shows how herbs can give an instant effect, and provide colour and texture  when mixed with shrubs and perennials. It shows how to transform paving, walls, and flowerbeds with herbs. 130 colour photos, and garden plans  £20.00
